Hermann, Missouri – A shuttle bus crash on Saturday morning has left 32 people injured, with three individuals suffering serious injuries. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Highway 100, west of Eagles Nest Drive, when the bus, a 2000 Freightliner M Line, veered off the road.

The shuttle bus was traveling westbound when the driver reportedly overcorrected after the vehicle went off the right side of the road, causing it to cross into the left side and strike a ditch. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene to assist with the injured.

The bus driver, a 45-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. Among the seriously injured passengers are a 36-year-old woman from Jerseyville, Illinois, a 37-year-old man from Olathe, Kansas, and a 60-year-old man from Warrenton, Missouri. In addition, eleven people suffered moderate injuries while 17 others reported minor injuries. The only passenger who escaped without injury was a 60-year-old woman from Lee’s Summit.

Among those injured in the crash, ten individuals were from the Kansas City area. This group included five passengers from Lee’s Summit, along with others from Grain Valley, Olathe, Gladstone, Liberty, and Kansas City, Missouri.

Multiple emergency crews from the local regions of Gerald, New Haven, Owensville, and Hermann were involved in the rescue efforts, helping to transport those injured to medical facilities. Response teams worked swiftly to manage the situation and provide aid to the victims.
