Small businesses play a significant role in the economic landscape of the United States, accounting for over 70% of net new jobs created since 2019. In 2024, the nation has been witnessing an average of 430,000 new business applications each month, underscoring the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit across the country.

The 2025 Accelerator for Local Businesses program is designed to provide entrepreneurs with the tools they need to succeed. Participants will benefit from a 12-week curriculum that includes workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and access to county-wide small business resources. By partnering with local leaders, including Mayor Christina Muryn of Findlay and Mayor Quinton Lucas of Kansas City, DoorDash aims to tailor the program to meet the specific needs of local entrepreneurs.

Each participating business will receive a $5,000 grant as well as $1,000 in DoorDash advertising credits, providing crucial financial support to help them thrive in their respective markets.

Local businesses interested in participating in the Accelerator program can apply until April 21, 2025.
